Mr. Ngugi Kariuki is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He is one of the founding partners of Mbiriri Ngugi & Company Advocates and is currently its managing partner. Ngugi is a holder of a Bachelors of Laws degree from Moi University and a post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Law Society of Kenya and East African Law Society. Prior to founding the firm Jointly with Mr. Nderitu, Ngugi worked in two large firms under the mentorship of senior advocates where he served high profiled international corporations. Ngugi has gained immense experience and expertise in prosecuting and defending cases in the Court of Appeal, High Court, Magistrate Courts and Different Tribunals for individual and corporate clients. He has also facilitated negotiations and out of court settlement of matters to the satisfaction of clients. He has primary experience in different areas of the practice inter alia; commercial transactions, conveyancing, law of contract, Children and Gender Law, criminal law, civil cases, Probate and administration, Family Law, judicial review and land law. He has successfully engaged in Incorporation of companies, registration of businesses, filing returns, Change of companies’ directorship, transfer of shares and Registration of NGOs with both National outlook and International Outlook. He has also played major roles in negotiations and undertaking property transactions involving colossal amounts of money. He therefore has a wealth of knowledge on the crucial details of contracts which bears the potential of creating conflicts and the best modes of settling such disputes. Ngugi has also successfully conducted training in appraising the Constitution of Kenya, 2010 and on the Division of Matrimonial Property Act, 2013 in different fora. He also has a track record on pro bono services.

Mr. Nderitu, who is also a founder member of the firm, is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya with an interest in conflict and dispute resolution through Alternative Dispute Resolution mechanisms, Civil litigation, Commercial law practice, Intellectual Property Law, Environment and Land law and Conveyancing. A fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, Mr. Nderitu is a well-trained and qualified mediator and arbitrator who conducts mediations and arbitrations either as a party representative or an arbitrator/mediator. Mr. Nderitu holds a Bachelor of laws degree from Makerere University, Kampala and a post graduate diploma from the Kenya School of Law. He also holds a Diploma in Domestic Arbitration from the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, London and certificates in International Commercial Arbitration training by the ICC International Court of Arbitration. He is the current chairperson of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb) (Kenya Branch), a board member of the International Chamber of Commerce, Kenya Chapter, the Law Society of Kenya and East Africa Law Society.

A God fearing Advocate, with a multi – disciplinary background, experienced at working in different Law Firms and a Tribunal. With experience in researching and analyzing legal data for both oral and written presentations. Core competencies include: Oratory and presentation skills, analytical skills, legal procedures, drafting skills and research skills. Educational credentials include: Bachelor of laws (LLB) and post graduate diploma, Advocates Training Program (ATP)

Ezra is a Legal Assistant at Mbiriri Ngugi & Co Advocates. He has a keen interest in Alternative dispute resolution, Intellectual Property, Environment and Corporate and Finance Law. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Nairobi and has completed the Advocates Training Program at the Kenya School of Law.

Okwemba is a legal Assistant at Mbiriri Ngugi & Co. Advocates. He has a key interest in Litigation, conveyancing, commercial transactions and Company law. He holds a Bachelor of laws degree from Kampala International University and has also completed the Advocates Training Program at the Kenya school of Law.

Joined Mbiriri Ngugi & Company Advocates as an administrative secretary in 2018. She brought with her legal secretarial & administrative experience. She has hitherto ensured that all tasks within the firm are run in an effective manner.
